Notes
In need of an easy, light-hearted read, I picked up an Evanovich at random. It was just right. Just enough mystery and plenty of humor and foolishness. Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter extraordinaire (in her own mind, at least) has a weird murderer sort of on her tail, a mysterious former mentor sexily in the wind, her grandma unexpectedly deciding to live with Stephanie, a sudden and cheerful Golden Retriever... oh, and her "maybe marry me, maybe not" cop boyfriend getting anxious.
And then there's Stephanie's coworker, Lula, who just about steals the show.
It's fast-moving, entertaining, amusing, a bit politically incorrect, and was just right for me for this moment. So yay!
